Rally In the Deep South 2016

It was with some trepidation that we ran the 2016 Rally In Dunedin, fearing it might be just a bit too far for the attendance to be worthwhile.. We need not have worried. Whilst the numbers at 26 riders were lower than might be expected in place like Palmerston Nth or Christchurch, we still had a dedicated band and we enjoyed a very well organised and, for us North Islanders, a fabulous day of riding in the golden hills of Central Otago. Thanks must go to the great work from the organising committee (Brian Walker Dave Hastings assisted by Bill Veitch and others). If you ever want to visit an eclectic collection of stuff, pop in and see Phil Ford In Middlemarch - more unusual machines than you can think about hiding in his shed. Phil made us very welcome. The only down side if you can call it that was that the heat of the day enticed most of us on our way fairly quickly, eager to cool off in the breeze!
